1 Month Down…11 To Geaux!

Dear TMDF Family,

We hope you enjoyed the snow if you’re a #LocalBaddie. As we approach a new month, I am constantly reminded and uplifted by the resilience, love, and strength that fuel this community. Every mother we support, story we hear, and baby we adore affirms why we do this work. We strive daily to be a beacon of hope for those who need it most. We couldn’t do any of this without your support. Thank you so much. Let’s continue to make a difference!

2025 is about…INTENTIONALITY!

Join Nailah in challenging herself to do at least one thing each week that is ONLY for her! As moms, we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, love, and work that we forget to practice self-care. Push yourself to put yourself at the forefront and take action to remind yourself of why you love yourself. It’s not easy, but it’s necessary. Here are some tips you can use:

• Take a deep breath when you feel overwhelmed.

• Sit in silence (no distractions) for five minutes before starting your day.

• Create a new bedtime routine.

• Move your body (take a walk or visit the gym!).

• Say “no”, mean it, and don’t take it back.

• Treat yourself to a date. Bring your notebook and Bible and spend some quality time with God.
