Congratulations to this cycle’s winners of our New Baby Bundle! There were so many mothers who applied from all over, but our top 2 winners came from Baton Rouge, La, and Loranger, La! We were able to hand-pick items these mothers needed and ship them to them! Congratulations, ladies on both of your beautiful daughters. A special thank you to Ms. Latasha Ramsey-Cyprian for sponsoring one of our bundles! Your support is genuinely appreciated.

TMDF is so proud of Nailah for working with Louisiana Survivors for Reform and other advocates impacted by incarceration and domestic violence. This month, she spoke at the Capital about what it means for the Justice for Survivors Act to have been prematurely killed. Thank you for using your voice to spread knowledge, life, and love!

We had the amazing opportunity to host The Little Mermaid at our local Hammond theatre. Thanks to Southern Black Girls, our guests got to enjoy the theatre to themselves with FREE admission, FREE drinks, and FREE popcorn! Thank you SBG for sponsoring this outing! We had so much fun and loved the movie.

We are also so proud of Nailah for delivering an amazing presentation for youth at the National Junior Achievers Conference based in Jackson, Mississippi. Congratulations!

Furthermore, join us at the Birth Fair taking place at the Holiday Inn in Covington on July 8th from 11 am-2 pm. This event is not hosted by TMDF, but it is an amazing resource for mothers!

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE: Hey! We need your help to support a mother-in-need. A 23-year-old mom recently gave birth to a set of identical twins (1 girl, 1 boy). As of now, they are in the NICU, but next week they will be going home and we need your help to make sure they have essential items to make their transition a comfortable one! Please contribute in any way that you can. Mom is asking for car seats, strollers, bouncers, diapers (preemie, newborn, or one), or clothes (preemie and 0-6mos.) Anything will help. We appreciate you!
