Thank you to all our donors for supporting us as we support our moms. Because of your support, we can continue helping the mommies in our community successfully raise their children with the support they need. One of our moms, Taylor L., is directly impacted by incarceration and recently had a beautiful baby girl. She is battling various familial issues, but caring for her new baby is one less thing she has to worry about because of your generous giving. 

We have a new graduate!

Congratulations to Mashyra D. for graduating from Amite High School, the high school I attended for 3 of my 4 years. She is killing it as a new mom and we are so proud of her.

The Mommy Dearest Foundation x Essence of a Lady, Inc.

Nailah was invited to speak at Essence of a Lady’s 35th empowerment conference, and what a time it was! She recalled how TMDF was born and how valuable we are to our community. We made many connections that now extend to Jacksonville, FL, reunited with Dr. Cameka Smith, Dr. JoAnn Scott, and Priscilla Williams of The Boss Network, and met Alexis Kerr of Hallmark Mahogany. What a fabulous time with fabulous women!
